Haven't been to look at b&q kitchens so can't comment on quality, the reason for not looking was the bad reviews though. To clarify, this is not a paid or collaborative post. It was the same style as id previously ordered earlier in the year for a customer, i thought it a little pricey so compared the prices.

Wickes aren't great, crap units made out of poor quality chipboard, worktops are probably the worst quality soft chipboard. Many people seem to believe their contract is with howdens when in fact its with the fitter/supplier who paid howdens for the kitchen. It's been almost 2 years since we created our open plan kitchen diner space and installed our howdens shaker kitchen, so i thought i’d write a full howdens kitchen review to support anyone in the stages of researching which kitchen supplier is right for them, or simply asking “are howdens kitchens any good?”.
